Correction of the FB2 to ensure a warm restart of the Modbus communication after return of voltage on the IM (with FB2 - V2.2 or higher only in conjunction with firmware version V1.4.0). 

Software Requirements
The use of the function blocks from the libraries requires an installed version of SIMATIC STEP 7 V5.2 SP 1 or higher as well as the HW update ET200S 1SI ASCII/3964(R) [corresponds to HSP "s7h0056x.hsp"] or ET200S 1SI Modbus/USS [corresponds to HSP "s7h0058x.hsp"].

NOTES:

The instance data blocks must not be loaded to the CPU during active communication of the SEND/RECEIVE blocks.

The following applies to FBs V2.x or higher: The parameter COM_RST of FBs 2 to 8 (S_RCV, S_SEND, S_VSTAT, S_VSET, S_XON, S_RTS and S_V24) is used to inform the FB of a startup. If you are using one of the above FBs, you must set the respective parameter COM_RST  in the startup OB to 1. Then call the respective FB in cyclic mode without setting or resetting the parameter COM_RST.

Hardware Requirements
The installation of the library, the project examples and the user manuals calls for the same requirements as the installation of STEP 7. Required in addition:
