The SIMATIC Drive Controller also has two USB interfaces 3.0. These do not currently have an assigned function.
Communication between CPU and SINAMICS Integrated is based on PROFIdrive mechanisms. The communication services used for this are based on PROFIBUS DP and are processed over an internal, high-performance interface that allows cycle times as low as 250 μs.
